Membership is mandatory for all insurance companies licensed to write property insurance in the State of Oregon. Annual participation factors are calculated each year based on the 2nd preceding year’s written premium data as reported to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

In other words, the Participation Factors for 2024 are based on the written premium data for the year 2022.  Factors for the year 2023 are based on 2021 written premium data, and so on and so forth.
